Megan Ort is a New York-based theater artist. On Broadway, she understudied Sutton Foster as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Leona Lewis as Grizabella in Cats. Megan performed in the international tour of The Phantom of the Opera as Christine Daaé, toured the US with the Evita 1st national tour, and played actor-musician roles in regional productions of Once and Soul Doctor. She is a co-creator and star of a new play, The Yellow Wallpaper, which will make its Edinburgh Fringe debut this summer after several New York presentations. Megan proudly serves as a mentor for SwingNation — the first-of-its-kind swing mentorship program spearheaded by the Harriet Tubman Effect.
